Abhyas Nepal’s preprimary teacher training program aims to develop the quality of the teaching and learning process so that all children can learn in a friendly manner which is developmentally appropriate for them. The purpose of this program is to assist the schools to equip with technical and practical knowledge of preschool theories according to the current local situation
Goal and Objectives of our curriculum and thematic planning are:
- Impart knowledge, skill and understanding of preschool to teachers to run pre-primary classes in meaningful and child friendly way.
- Provide technical assistance in long, medium and short term planning with curricular objectives in order to operate preschool classes in systematic, meaningful and child friendly way.
- Assist in creating child friendly learning environment in the school.
This preschool teachers training package will help teachers to gain knowledge on basic principles of early education. Classes will be conducted in workshop style so that teachers will have enough opportunity to practice what they will learn during the training.
Teachers will be shown how to make a suitable and realistic daily routine; they will be shown how to set learning goals and objectives for the entire year and how to break them down term and monthly. They will be show how to implement theme teaching into their daily activities. Furthermore teachers will be given lesson plan formats for planning daily lesson.
